I’m fostering this pup from German Shepherd Dog Rescue of Georgia for a while. Anyone looking to adopt, (he’s a Shepherd-lab mix and so sweet) holla atcha girl.

I’ve been gardening. Planted this hydrangea about a week ago, it’s beautiful.

Did you know the color of the flower depends upon the acidity of the soil?

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live along some distant day into the answer.

Let’s get real for a second. It’s time to talk about another weird crush that I have (I previously gushed about Fifty).

Hoodie Allen, y’all.

Seriously though, he’s so charming, but it’s honestly his literary references that really get me.. Agatha Christie!?. Hell yes. If you can rap about her, you’ve got my vote. It’s probably the juxtaposition of his education and white boy swag. Whatever, swoon. This is «Stick and Stones» and my favorite off of his sophomore album (?) Leap Year.

This is why we wear sunscreen, kiddies. It is especially important when wearing tennis/running apparel because now my tan lines are ridiculous.

Volunteering with Special Olympics tennis was super rewarding though!

So my hair has been really dry since using a box of hair dye on a whim earlier this semester and in my search for natural home remedy, I came upon what is essentially banana-guacamole..and I put it in my hair.

-1/2 banana

-1/2 avocado

-1/4 cup of aloe vera gel

-2tbsp olive oil

Blend it up, put it in your hair then wrap a hot moist towel ‘round your head for 20 minutes!

It’s supposed to make your hair really soft and provide nutrition but my hair felt basically the same. Though there is a weird satisfaction to be gained from smearing food in your hair. Happy Guacamole-ing!

I have a strong belief that the amount and variety of egg sandwiches created and consumed directly correlates with happiness in life

I think we subscribed to the same beliefs. Also, I just watched that girls episode. REAL GOOD. Music in the end was awesome too
